A simple solution to complex challenges
In 2018, three fathers shared a vision: to put an end to the endless chaos of school notes and messages on the fridge. They wanted to simplify communication between teachers, parents and students. From this idea, KLAPP was born, a platform that revolutionised the exchange of information in schools.
Today, several years later, KLAPP is much more than just an idea. With 15 employees, the company has grown from a start-up to an established young enterprise. More than 1300 schools already use the platform. As KLAPP's deputy CEO, Karin realised that some aspects of the company's management, especially time tracking, needed to be professionalised. Cumbersome Excel spreadsheets needed to be replaced with a user-friendly digital solution. "I looked at a few alternatives," explains Karin, "but many were confusing or designed for larger organisations. When she came across 2getHR, she was delighted that the tool offered much more than just time tracking. "Today, we also use digital expenses, holiday and absence management and the digital employee file. At a later stage, 2getHR will also be used for employee appraisals.
Karin emphasises the simplicity and user-friendliness of 2getHR: "In my experience, a tool can only be used correctly and effectively if it is easy to use". The Swiss origin of 2getHR is also important. "The mindset of the people behind 2getHR suits KLAPP," explains Karin. "A healthy work-life balance is important to us, which is why we employ a lot of part-time staff. Not many tools solve this problem as well as 2getHR.
